Pick your trade
Every trade that comes to the boat, one shelf. A trade page opens only when at least 2 pros in it are checked and live — no empty shelves, no padded counts.

Opening next — the census runs in this order
- Texas — 552,138 registered vessels (U.S. Coast Guard Recreational Boating Statistics 2024). First wedge: outboard mechanics and marine electrical — Gulf Coast first, then the big inland lakes.
- South Carolina — 353,906 registered vessels (U.S. Coast Guard Recreational Boating Statistics 2024). First wedge: hull, gelcoat and fiberglass work around Charleston and the Lowcountry.
- North Carolina — 345,699 registered vessels (U.S. Coast Guard Recreational Boating Statistics 2024). First wedge: comfort systems and diesel, plus mechanics on the sounds and Lake Norman.
- California — 596,703 registered vessels (U.S. Coast Guard Recreational Boating Statistics 2024). First wedge: marine electrical, San Diego first, then the Bay and Delta. Most boats here sit on land — built for pros who come to the boat.
- New York — 428,445 registered vessels (U.S. Coast Guard Recreational Boating Statistics 2024). First wedge: Long Island and the Hudson. A national chain moved into Long Island in late 2026 — the one market this directory is already chasing.
Requests from these states are logged now and help set the order — send yours and your town moves up the list. Nothing is listed for a state until its own operators pass the same checks Florida's did.
How it works
Tell us the job
The boat, the engine, what is wrong, and where the boat sits — a short form, two minutes. Or call a pro direct from their profile.
Checked pros see it — free
Your request goes to checked local pros in that trade and area. They see requests free; your request is never sold to a list.
The pro who does the work calls you
You deal direct with the business that shows up. Its name is the name on the bill — no middlemen, no call centers.
Why these pros are different
Most directories list anyone who signs up or pays. This one checks first — and shows its work on every profile:
- The phone is theirs. A pro proves the business phone is theirs before a listing is marked claimed. We only use a number the pro gives us — and if that number is new to us, a person on our team checks the business first.
- There is paper. One anchor in the business's own name — a state business record, a federal transport license, or an insurance certificate.
- Only what was checked is shown — each fact with its check date. Nothing checked, nothing claimed.
- No shells, no resellers. We list the business that shows up and does the work — and its name is the name on the bill. A real pro can have help with marketing; a front that grabs your call and sells it to someone else is never listed.
Request a mobile marine pro
Tell us about the boat and the problem. Your request goes to checked operators who serve your area in this trade — never sold per lead, never blasted to a list.
Before you hand anyone a deposit
Boat owners report the same three failures again and again. The mechanic never shows up. The parts deposit vanishes. The bill grows with no warning. And Written-estimate laws were written for cars, not boats. So this directory makes the checks before you call: a real business footprint, a checked date on every listing, and each operator's published rates where they offer them. Ask for the estimate in writing before work starts. Never pay a parts deposit to a business you cannot verify. How we check listings →

The rest of the verified map — each state with its registered vessel count (U.S. Coast Guard Recreational Boating Statistics 2024; Florida — FWC 2024). A state joins the live list only after its own census passes: named here in text until then, never dressed up as coverage.
